Hello!

My name is Kristin Monks and I began my journey with Reiki in Vancouver in 1997, first out of curiosity and later because of the effect it had on me personally.

My first experience receiving Reiki energy was so intensely effective in relieving my endometrial pain that I vowed to go forward and learn for myself how to give this gift to others.

Twenty five years later, I am more passionate than ever about Reiki and my commitment to it. I began practicing Reiki out of my home and on the road, wherever I was needed, in 1997, and in 2006.

I opened my first spa in Victoria BC, Iaso Bodyworks, where I practiced aesthetics and spa therapy alongside Reiki.

Motherhood and further spiritual study have changed my course in the very best of ways which now finds me based out of my home in Sidney BC, Kartara Reiki Studio. This change has brought my focus more fully to energy healing, giving my intuitive practice a much deeper spiritual component. Life here on the Saanich Peninsula has been wholly uplifting and reaffirming for me and my journey with Reiki, and I hope to share these gifts with you!
